UNFORTUNATELY THE 14TH ANNUAL SUMMER PROGRAM HAS BEEN CANCELED AND WILL RESUME NEXT YEAR. SORRY!
Due to the ongoing conditions associated with the Covid-19, the 2020 North Cypress Running Club Summer Youth Conditioning Program will alter the typical schedule to accommodate precautions needed to ensure that all participants are kept safe and protected from potential transmission of Covid-19. In light of the circumstances at hand, we will make the following adjustments to our typical training schedule to ensure that we do not have too many athletes in the training area at the same time for the first 3 weeks of the program.
Additionally, Parents should monitor the health of their children and not send them to the program if they exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19. If they experience any of the following symptoms, they should seek COVID-19 testing promptly and report results to the program given the implications for other children, families, and staff. Such symptoms include:
Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, Loss of taste or smell, Diarrhea, Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit, Known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19.
The adjusted schedule will be as follows: for the first three weeks (June 15 – July 3), we will have two training groups to help spread the athletes out. The first group will consist of all high school athletes (incoming 9th graders – seniors) and will last from 6:15am-7:15am. The second group will consist of all Incoming 8th graders and below and they will train from 7:30am-8:30am. We will keep our normal off week from July 6th - July 10th).
If things look better per the state guidelines, we will hopefully resume our normal summer schedule after the week off by bringing everyone together from 6:30 am – 8:00 am for the remaining 4 weeks of the training program (July 13th-August 7th).

Again, these are unusual times, but with everyone’s cooperation, we can and will hold a safe and productive training camp.
